During the Spring and Summer of 2024, Pocket Angel was able to acquire, equip, and start our latest venture to help those experiencing homelessness – the Pocket Angel Mobile Kitchen.
Alongside our partners at The Amber Foundation and as part of their programme, we are providing opportunities for young people to gain work experience in the fields of front of house, beverage and food preparation, and business operations. Our partners at Chimney Fire Coffee are not only supplying delicious ingredients, but are also training the young people to be the best of baristas.
The Mobile Kitchen will allow us to support more people rebuilding their lives, reach out to helpers and supporters such as yourself, and engage with the communities and companies where we appear.
Of course, inline with the Pocket Angel ethos, we take no profit from the Mobile Kitchen for ourselves. All monies raised go either into our frontline support services or are used towards the running costs of the Mobile Kitchen, or to increase our fleet of kitchens.
